Recall: All HeartStart MRx Defibrillators

[fusion_dropcap class="fusion-content-tb-dropcap"]W[/fusion_dropcap]e would like to alert our customers to a product recall alert regarding two problems affecting the HeartStart MRx which may result in a failure to treat cardiac arrest.

Possible failure to deliver a shock, cardioversion, pacing or monitoring.

Manufactured by Philips Healthcare – two battery-related problems:

1) May fail to power on or reboots repetitively.

2) After unplugging from AC mains, may fail to deliver a shock or undertake pacing.

We would like to alert our customers to a product recall alert regarding two problems affecting the HeartStart MRx which may result in a failure to treat cardiac arrest.

When the manufacturer has a solution to the problems they will issue another Field Safety Notice.

Companies using the HeartStart MRx are urged to contact Philips Customer Care Service Centre.
