In moments of crisis our products are there to help people and currently with violence breaking out in Sudan our Medical Kit bags are headed to Africa with the Red Cross to help them support the great many who need it.

South Sudan is the world’s newest nation and since December 2013 it has been forced into a vast humanitarian crisis as violence broke out in the country. 4 million people now urgently need life-saving supplies, while 1.5 million people have been displaced because of the conflict. The Red Cross have been shipped out to South Sudan and its neighbouring countries to offer support and supplies to the injured and the people removed from their homes. Openhouse have supplied the charity with medical kit bags, which hold a large first aid kit, a torch, batteries and a whole host of other useful items, which we hope will aid them and their support.

The Red Cross are calling for the British public’s help in a crisis appeal. What the South Sudanese people need are the most basic of items:

• Clean water
• Shelter
