This week, we have celebrated Openhouse’s 27th birthday!

We have been providing the highest quality of bespoke, British manufacturing possible and continue to push that to the absolute limits.

We have been established since 1991, and a limited company since 1992 when our Chairman began manufacturing laptop bags in his garage with a small team of seamstresses. One of the seamstresses’ husband was a firefighter and spotted the bags when picking up his wife. Following that was a discussion about the then lack of choice of luggage for emergency services and a visit to the local ambulance station. The rest, as they say, is history.

Our exclusive material micrAgard™ was conceived at the Amex 2004 conference and has been acclaimed by customers in the ambulance, police and fire services internationally as it continues to promote and se the standard for infection control.
